Yamamoto®, Research Dimezim®, is a dietary supplement of S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAMe) and betaine.
Adenosylmethionine is found in all living cells, it is a substance that our body produces naturally from ATP and methionine synthesized by methionine adenosyltransferase.
'SAMe' participates in different biochemical reactions of the human body, with very important functions such as binding methyl groups ('methylation') with other molecules, from DNA to phospholipids or proteins.
In this way the body synthesizes, regenerates and protects the cartilage of the joints and the biochemistry of the brain, and eliminates harmful substances from the liver, such as alcohol or drugs, thanks also to the increase in the production of endogenous glutathione produced by adenosylmethionine.
In addition, SAMe is essential for producing neurotransmitters such as serotonin, norepinephrine, dopamine and phosphatidylserine, which is why it is usually considered a valid mood elevator.
To support the detoxifying action in the liver is present, Betaine, which is also a natural methyl donor substance, such as adenosylmethionine.
